Most people are struggling to find a balance between work and entertainment, but Dr. Daniel Wasdahl seems to have found the perfect balance between his passions: pathology and juggling. Despite what hat Dr. Dan wore that day, in his mind, he was a complete performer.

Dan admired his father's work as a pathologist to help and treat others since he was very young. When it comes to choosing his career path, Dan finds it appropriate to pay tribute to his father's legacy by going to medical school.

Dan's father, Dr. Walter A. Wasdahl, is a pathologist.

During his studies, he found good discipline in the regular schedule of pathology students, even though the daily courses, textbooks, study and continuous study became quite monotonous. While in medical school, Dan really began to perfect what would become his next beloved art: juggling.

Dan started his juggling journey at a very young age, but he hardly knew that it would later become the main content of his life and daily life. Over the years, he has performed with many different passing performances, performances, partners and performances.

Over the years, Dan has been in and out of juggling and circus stages. As life happened around him, the genius took a back seat in the hustle and bustle of working pathologists. Although checking slides under a microscope is a day's work, Dan missed the performance elements of his life, so he decided to engage in teaching.

As a pathology professor at Northeastern Medical College in Ohio, Dan has been creating ways to make learning fun while at the same time full of joy and sharing the wonders of the human heart with his classroom. For many years, he has been marching on the stage, explaining and showing the ins and outs of the characteristics of our body's valves, veins, and aorta, somehow finding a way to transform the essence of research into a real wonder. It was not until last year that according to the implementation of the new virtual classroom, he discovered that his life was again lacking in acting skills.

After he interrupted his artistic creation many times, Dan is looking for a community to rekindle the spark that was missing in his previous vaudeville performances. At that time, he found the Rubber City Juggling Club in Akron, Ohio. Here, Dan tests, teaches, perfects and performs his performances with other local jugglers and itinerant artists from the area. They continue to entertain local audiences across Ohio with their playful talents and scenes.

At the age of 65, it is safe to say that Dan has enough space to display more skills. His latest stunt? An epic combo technique to keep balance on rolla bolla...it's on fire. You ask, how is this spectacle performed? See all of his features to watch it in action, and read more about balancing behavior in Ripley's Out of the Box, this is the life of Dr. Dan Wasdahl (Professor, Pathologist, and Performer)!

Out of the box!
